Hey everybody!

Being around weddings every weekend for 15 years, you'd think I would get de-sensitized to all the sweet moments that a wedding can bring, but I don't. Each week, it's different and special. Each week I have a new bride to be happy for, and since I feel like I'm great friends with my clients... I feel like each week I get to go to a friend's wedding (albeit with my camera and a shootsac full of lenses... haha!).

Lauren has followed the blog for years, and when she and Trent (also a wedding photographer!) got engaged, she knew she had to have us, even if we lived in Fayetteville and they were building a house and getting married in Saint Louis. We love traveling, especially for gorgeous brides like Lauren (who is equally sweet as she is pretty!).

Trent isn't your typical groom. Being a wedding photographer, he (like me) loves all things wedding. He was excited that his wedding day was finally here, and that he had his best friends to share it with. For his groomsmen gifts, he present them with Burberry ties. If you know me, you know how much I adore a good Burberry check! That's a great groomsmen gift! To take his gift-giving skills a bit further, Lauren got a beautiful Tiffany & Co gift bag with her "something blue" inside. Nice, right?! Some more of their "getting ready" details are below...

His and hers designer shoes. Love Badgley Mischka wedding shoes... always!  And Cole Haan makes some great men's shoes!

Look at this dress!  The details and flourishes are breathtaking! It's all in the details!

Her bouquet was gorgeous (vendors below), and she wrapped her bouquet with lace from her mother's wedding dress.  How precious is that bouquet idea! Way to make it personal, Lauren!!

Trent had to rock the Burberry as well as his groomsmen.  And isn't Lauren STUNNING?!

Trent sure thought so!  Here he is seeing his bride for the first time.  What a moment.

I love old St. Louis churches! Well, I think it's actually in Clayton, but whatevs.  Isn't is gorgeous?!

Ah, the first kiss as husband and wife. I love the expressions on the maid of honor and best man as well.

OMG.... CUTEST Flower girl ever.  She was a ham all day!

Finally, a beautiful bubble exit from the church.  I rarely get to shoot these the way I want since it's normally darker, but this is pretty much perfection. Don't the bubbles look super cool in all their blurriness?  The is a framer for sure!

Tomorrow I'm going to share the reception with you, and mention a few key peeps (aka St. Louis wedding vendors) that made the day pretty much perfect.  Stay tuned for that!
